Scot Jackson, CPA, CFP® is the managing director of financial planning at Frontier Investment Management Company. He also oversees the firm’s qualified plan consulting services and Frontier’s investment/financial planning platform for young professionals. As a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner ™ (CFP®), Scot is experienced in income taxation and efficiencies, qualified and non-qualified employer-provided plans, retirement distribution planning, risk mitigation, asset protection, and other financial planning subject areas. He has authored several of Frontier’s proprietary white papers on various topics.
Scot began his career in public accounting and later transitioned to financial planning and wealth management. Scot graduated, Magna Cum Laude, from Harding University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting. He also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution. Scot is a member of the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs.
